The EcoTRADE project studies the applicability of tradable development rights (TDRs) to biodiversity conservation. The EcoTRADE Team is an interdisciplinary group of ecologists, economists and modellers. See Project for details on the project and scientific methods.

EcoTRADE is one of the projects in the EuroDIVERSTY programme of the European Science Foundation (ESF), and is funded by the Dutch and German Science Organisations (NWO and DFG) for the period 2006-2009.
